ABSTRACTIONS 2020-2024

Monoprints from this series began while in residency at Double Dog Dare art studio in Kalaheo, Kauai in January 2020 and continued development into 2024. The emphases of these works were based on the colors and forms of Hawaiian corals as well as their symbiotic complexities. Formal elements are broken down into simple shapes that explore texture, color, and composition.
